SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE ZINE BY MAISON FIERRO

3 TECH TRENDS FOR FASHION

Web3 and technology are big disrupters for all industries. After a visit to Viva Technology 2025, here 3 trends that fashion brands will be embracing in the following months.

Not everything is about robots and Big Data, more tangible applications of digitalisation and web3 are now embedded in products and experiences. After visiting VIVA TECHNOLOGY 2025 that took place in Paris during June 2025, some fashion brands showed their latest tech innovations. Here three major trends among them.

Traceability: products will have through different ways chips or codes that after scanning them the user will receive a digital certification to prove it is genuine and not part of counterfeit. But also, and maybe more interesting for sustainability, is a way to receive access to the history of the product and offer thus traceability and transparency.

Easier scanning for marketing and circularity: scanning products and creating 3D digital models of them is getting easier and faster. The aim is that in a relative quick and intuitive way even with smartphones anyone can scan a product to have digital models to be used for e-commerce, media productions and to offer intelligent connected options for recyclability, upcycling and circular sales.

Bio data for customisation: specially for the beauty industry, the reading of bio data of customer is now out in the market in order to offer professional guidance through products and sales processes. The ultra-customised experiences will be the major differentiator in the market.
